Lançamento recente da Netflix, o longa “Bird Box”, com Sandra Bullock, retrata a Terra dominada por criaturas, mas não revela o rosto desses seres. No suspense, os personagens passam a maior parte do tempo vendados, porque correm risco de morrer se encararem um desses aliens.
As criaturas do mal não são mostradas no filme, mas elas chegaram a ser criadas para a produção. Observando a curiosidade do público, Howard Berger , dono da KNB EFX Group, não se aguentou e decidiu publicar fotos dos monstros em seu perfil do Instagram com uma mensagem de carinho ao sobre o filme.
“Acabei de assistir ao ‘Bird Box’ e achei muito legal. Infelizmente, a criatura que nós criamos foi retirada no corte final. Andy Bergholtz esculpiu o modelo. Stephen Prouty fez a maquiagem no ator Dirk Rogers. É sempre meio frustrante quando tanto esforço que você coloca em algo acaba na sala de edição, mas eu entendo isso e sei que é sempre pelo bem do produto final.”
Produzido pela Netflix, “Bird Box” conta a história de Mallory, uma mulher grávida, que tenta se salvar em um cenário pós-apocalíptico junto a um grupo de desconhecidos. Para sobreviverem, eles precisam usar vendas fora de casa e evitar a entidade que circula pelo mundo exterior e que tem provocado uma onda de suicídios. A atriz Sandra Bullock veio ao Brasil, no fim do ano passado, para divulgar o filme por aqui.
