Faltando três meses para o casamento, um médico, de 33 anos, e o noivo deram fim ao relacionamento, que durava um ano e meio. O caminho natural para muitos seria o cancelamento da cerimônia. No entanto, Diogo Rabelo decidiu manter o evento e se casou sozinho.
A cerimônia aconteceu no dia 17 de outubro, em Itacaré, na Bahia. Diogo compartilhou as imagens do casamento nas redes sociais e a história foi contada pelo site UOL, nesta quarta-feira (4).
“Nós sonhamos com este momento, era para ser o grande dia de nossas vidas. Até brincamos como se fosse o nosso ‘lugar secreto’ (aquele lugar na praia, debaixo dos coqueiros), mas no meio do caminho você preferiu ficar e me deixar ir sozinho. Cá estou, honrando minha palavra. E mesmo assim eu ainda o respeito porque quero que você seja livre para ir aonde quiser e para ficar onde quiser”, escreveu o médico em uma das postagens.
De acordo com o jornal O Globo, cerca de 40 convidados (todos eles de Diogo) participaram da cerimônia na praia. A lista original, conta a publicação, tinha 100 pessoas.

Mesmo com a presença de apenas um dos noivos, o casamento teve todo o rito tradicional, com entrada de Diogo com o buquê de flores, entrada de pajem com as alianças e votos de matrimônio.
Depois do “sim”, Diego jogou o buquê para os convidados, como manda a tradição. “Sorte e benção para quem pegou o buquê!”, desejou o noivo.
As postagens do casamento fizeram sucesso nas redes sociais com muitos compartilhamentos e curtidas, além de alguns pedidos de casamento para o médico nos comentários.
