Morreu nesta segunda-feira (24), aos 21 anos, a estudante Leticia Caliman Baptisti. Ex-candidata a vereadora de Venda Nova do Imigrante nas última eleições, pelo Partido Verde, ela foi vítima de uma parada cardíaca.
Letícia era estudante de Arquitetura e Urbanismo do Campus Colatina do Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo.
O tio de Leticia, o deputado federal Evair de Melo, comunicou a morte e fez uma homenagem a estudante. Segundo ele, a sobrinha teve uma “parada cardíaca irreversível”.
“Uma filha para mim e a Licia e com certeza verdadeira irmã da Sarah e Arthur. Sempre foi um orgulho para nós. Meiga, quietinha, atenta, super carinhosa, ao mesmo tempo decidida e guerreira. Passou as últimas horas com a gente com o sorriso de sempre. Tenho certeza que seu lugarzinho está guardado no céu. Vai deixar um vazio enorme que preencheremos com a fé e amor eterno por ti. Vai com Deus meu amor de sobrinha que de tão bela nos deixava cega, assim eu brincava com ela. Vc sempre será “meu pedaço de gente”, escreveu o deputado.

Em entrevista ao Tribuna Online, o deputado federal relatou que a sobrinha desmaiou nos braços da mãe ao chegar em casa. “Ela chegou para almoçar falou ‘mãe, me segura que vou cair’ e caiu nos braços da mãe dela”, revelou.
Letícia chegou a ser socorrida ao hospital, onde a equipe tentou reanimá-la, mas sem sucesso.
O parlamentar destacou que a sobrinha foi criada com ele e viu ela dar os primeiros passos, além de acompanhar o desenvolvimento dela até tentar entrar na vida pública.
Segundo Evair, foi a própria sobrinha que decidiu ser candidata a vereadora em Venda Nova do Imigrante e obteve 85 votos. Não foi eleita. “Nos surpreendeu nas últimas eleições quando por conta própria aceitou ser candidata a Vereadora em Venda Nova dizendo que queria aprender de política e aceitaria o desafio”, escreveu.
O tio conta que Letícia decidiu ser candidata também para superar a timidez. “Eu jamais iria imaginar que Letícia iria querer ser candidata a vereadora. Ela era muito tímida, quietinha, falava baixo. Mas ela falou que seria bom ser candidata para ela aprender a falar com as pessoas na rua, cumprimentar as pessoas. Ela falou que perderia a vergonha, porque iria ter que entregar santinho e ela se divertiu na campanha. Essa mensagem que ela deixou me marcou bastante”.
O corpo de Letícia foi sepultado às 10 horas, no cemitério da cidade. Evair destacou que a sobrinha era tão querida que amigos de fora do município pediram a ele para transmitir a cerimônia em um grupo particular para que pudessem render a ela essa última homenagem.
Em nota, o Ifes de Colatina emitiu nota de pesar pela morte de Leticia e decretou luto oficial.

Nas redes sociais, parentes e amigos de Leticia se manifestaram pela morte da estudante.
“Que tristeza. Uma excelente aluna, sempre muito gentil e educada. Sinto muito pela família”, escreveu uma seguidora. “Difícil acreditar”, escreveu outro seguidor. “Que notícia mais triste! Meu Deus, que Ele em sua infinita misericórdia conforte todos vocês nesse momento! Que a Letícia seja recebida com todo amor no céu!
