O veleiro ‘Guruça Cat’, embarcação onde quase 2 toneladas de cocaína foram apreendidas na madrugada desta terça-feira (16), na costa de Recife, em Pernambuco, foi construído por um casal do Espírito Santo: Guta e Fausto. Pelas redes sociais, eles divulgaram fotos da embarcação e lamentaram o fato do ‘Guruça Cat’ estar envolvido no crime.
A embarcação foi apreendida pela Marinha e pela Polícia Federal na costa de Pernambuco, quando seguiria em direção à Europa. Cinco tripulantes que estavam no interior da embarcação foram presos.
Os antigos donos (a embarcação foi vendida há quase um ano) lamentaram o caso. “Acabamos de saber que o Guruçá Cat, veleiro catamarã que construímos com muito esmero e que nos proporcionou uma volta ao mundo velejando confortavelmente, foi apreendido na costa de Recife lotado de cocaína com cinco tripulantes a bordo. Gostaríamos de deixar claro que vendemos o Guruçá Cat há quase um ano e não sabemos quem eram seus donos. (…) Um triste episódio para um veleiro querido por tantos brasileiros que acompanharam sua construção e aventuras”, diz o perfil no Instagram. “Que as autoridades o leiloem o quanto antes para que os novos donos o tratem como ele merece”, completaram os antigos donos.

O casal relembrou ainda o processo de criação do catamarã, que carregaria as estrelas da bandeira do Brasil (apesar da cor de “calcinha desbotada”, na brincadeira deles).
“Seremos reconhecidos como brasileiros em todo canto que pararmos. É isso que eu quero! ele dizia. Foram três anos e três meses de construção até o catamarã se materializar. Passaram por vários sentimentos: entusiasmo, alegrias, angústias, decepções e muito cansaço durante a obra. Mas depois de tanto esforço e dedicação, todos podiam ver o que somente uma pessoa conseguia”, dizia a lembrança.
